MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, the authorized importer of Skoda cars in Nepal, delivered 75 units of the all-new Škoda Kushaq to customers from its various dealerships across Nepal in a single day. On Wednesday, the cars were handed over to popular media personalities Dr Sameer Mani Dixit, CEO of Tootle, Sikchhit Bhatta, actor Anoop Bikram Shahi and vlogger Sisan Baniya, among others.

MAW launched the vehicle in Nepal two weeks ago and within a short time it has been well received in the Nepali market. Since its world premiere at the beginning of this year, the Kushaq stood out as a completely new Škoda on the market.

"We had a good response after the Škoda Kushaq was launched on the market. We have more than 153 units reserved so far. Today we have delivered 75 vehicles in Kathmandu and outside the valley,” said Raunak Agarwal, Managing Director, Skoda MAW. “The Kushaq is equipped with the world-renowned TSI technology, which is an optimal combination of power, efficiency, refinement and performance. The TSI engine is the latest award-winning engine technology.

With its rugged and muscular looks, the Kushaq is perfectly tailored to the tastes of SUV buyers. Some of the design features include split LED headlights with DRLs, LED turn signals, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, front radiator grille, roof spoiler, electric sunroof and bold 'SKODA' lettering on the tailgate. The interiors are the perfect combination of elegance and modernity and feature "Simply Clever" brand solutions that make driving easier.

The dimensions of the SUV measure 4,221 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width and 1,612 mm in height. The wheelbase of the SUV is 2,651 mm. The luggage compartment with a volume of 385 liters can be further expanded by folding down the second row of seats.

The Kushaq also comes with numerous safety features along with ESC as standard on all variants. MAW has announced customer-centric initiatives that make the buying process easier – for example, customers can buy Kushaq at a fixed interest rate of 5.99% for five years.

Skoda Kushaq price in Nepal starts from Rs 49,90,000 for the Active MT variant and goes up to Rs 65,90,000 for the Style AT variant.
