Bajaj has launched a new entry-level 125cc sports bike in the NS range – the NS125 – in Nepal. Derived from the NS200 and NS160, the NS125 is the smallest and most affordable bike in the NS range. The bike has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 2.79 lakh.
The design of the NS125 is heavily inspired by its older siblings (NS200 and NS160). The new bike features an aggressive front fascia (with wolf-eye inspired headlamp), clip-on handlebars, muscular tank, split seats, split handlebars, LED taillights, underbelly exhaust. The new motorcycle is offered in four color options: Beach Blue, Pewter Grey, Burnt Red, Fire Orange (New).
The NS125 features a semi-digital instrument cluster; the digital part gets a speedometer, fuel gauge, time indicator, odometer, side stand indicator and odometer; and the analog section gets a tachometer.
Engine
The NS125 is powered by a 125 cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, air-cooled, BSVI, DTS-i Ei engine that generates a maximum power of 11.8 PS at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11 Nm at 7000 rpm. min. The engine is connected to a five-speed gearbox with a constant engagement in the order 1-N-2-3-4-5. The company further claims that the bike can reach a top speed of 103.29 kmph.
