The BS6 version of the popular TVS Ntorq Race Edition scooter is available in Nepal not only with Fuel Injection (FI) but also with Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi). Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorized distributor of TVS vehicles in Nepal, has launched the latest model through the company's official social media.

Mostly aimed at the younger generation, Ntorq scooters are not only great for those who will use them for daily commuting, but also for those who enjoy the thrill and excitement that a scooter offers. It looks heavy and it is heavy – with a curb weight of 118kg; as already said, it represents the perfect balance of sportiness and practicality. The Ntroq Race Edition doesn't see any changes to the body panel, but still delivers a youthful and energetic feel with newly applied design elements: a prominent face with LED headlamp and T-shaped LED DRL; glossy black nose and glossy black mesh with smart connect logo; and a two-tone color scheme with 3D logo and checkered flag graphics.

The Ntorq Race Edition is powered by the same 124.8cc single-cylinder three-valve engine that generates a maximum power of 9.4bhp and a maximum torque of 10.5Nm. Unsurprisingly, it comes with a BS6 compliant engine and a fuel system that replaces the carburettor with racing fuel injection (RT Fi). The front and rear wheels have a disc brake and a drum brake. The front suspension has a telescopic suspension with hydraulic shock absorbers and the rear suspension is a coil spring with hydraulic shock absorbers.

The SmartXonnect feature (Bluetooth connection for smartphone pairing) is nothing new – the standard Ntorq 125 was the first scooter in Nepal with this feature – and the dynamic all-digital instrument console displays various functions such as clock, average speed, top speed. recorder, lap timer, etc. Similarly, the carbon fiber seat cover also enhances the racing identity of the scooter. The 22 liter boot has an internal light and USB port and fits a full size helmet. The fuel tank cap is located between the handles and is unlocked with the same key as the underseat storage compartment.

The color options for the all-new Ntorq 125 Race Edition are Race Edition Red and Race Edition Yellow. It also has two driving modes: Street and Sport. The dimensions of the scooter are 1861 mm in length, 710 mm in width and 1164 mm in height. It can reach a top speed of 95 kmph and the company says it delivers a mileage of 51.54 kmpl in the city and 56.23 kmpl on the highway. Similarly, the 1285mm wheelbase is relatively larger than its rivals – the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 and BS6 Honda Grazia – and the ground clearance is 155mm. Finally, the fuel tank capacity has been expanded by 0.8 liters and now stands at 5.8 liters.

The TVS Ntorq is available in four different variants: the standard Ntorq 125, the Ntorq 125 Race Edition, the Ntorq Super Squad Edition and the new BS6 Ntorq Race Edition.
