CFMOTO 250SR (Sports Racing) was launched in Nepal. CFMOTO, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, revealed the 250SR globally last year and now the bike has recently made an appearance here. This bike is the first sports bike under 250cc in Nepal brought by the authorized CFMoto motorcycle distributor in Nepal, ANNA International Pvt. Ltd.; and will compete with Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and KTM RC 200.

The 250SR is an entry-level full-size sportbike based on the same platform as the popular 250NK naked bike. It features an aggressively designed stance along with a unique and sophisticated design. The motorcycle is equipped with a full LED lighting system, which consists of a distinct twin eagle-eye headlamp for optimum visibility, C-shaped DRLs and side turn indicators. The look of the bike has been enlivened with sporty decals all over the body.

The bike will feature a new color TFT display with screen brightness that automatically adjusts to ambient light and offers two interfaces: Sport and Rain Riding modes, similar to the 250NK mode. The full color LCD instrument display offers integrated features such as rev, gear, speed and phone connectivity information to name a few.

Similarly, the ergonomic design allows for easy handling during street riding and commuting. And the lower position of the handlebars enhances the sporty driving experience. The combination of a light body and muscular profile and the model's racing DNA should appeal to young racers. Suspension on the 250SR is provided by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. The motorcycle is equipped with dual-channel ABS for increased safety and uses disc brakes on both wheels.

Propulsion is provided by a familiar power unit: a liquid-cooled 249.2cc single-cylinder DOHC engine (the same engine that powers the 250NK) that generates 20.5kW of power at 9750rpm and 22Nm of torque at 7500rpm. / min. The engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with a sliding clutch.

Dimensions 250SR measures 2010×750×1080 mm (length, width and height); wheelbase is 1360 mm; ground clearance is 135 mm; and the seat height is 750 mm. The curb weight of the motorcycle is 135 kg and the fuel tank volume is 12 liters. The bike can reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
