Honda has unveiled the all-new 2023 WR-V in Indonesia. Based on the Honda RS concept, the second generation WR-V gets new design changes and improved specifications. The WR-V will be offered in two configurations: E and RS.
The all-new 2023 WR-V measures 4060mm in length, 1780mm in width and 1608mm in height – making it longer, wider and taller than the outgoing models. The WR-V inherits its design cues from its older BR-V sibling. The E model comes with simpler design elements and 16-inch alloy wheels, while the RS models have a sportier design that includes a new grille, red accents, an all-black interior, two-tone exterior paint and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the SUV adopts the same interior elements as the BR-V models. The dashboard features a three-spoke steering wheel, a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the car is equipped with leather-upholstered seats.
The WR-V is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates a peak power of 122bhp and a peak torque of 145Nm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission or CVT. In addition, the car comes in a front-wheel drive configuration.

The WR-V comes with a number of practical and safety features. The car is equipped with safety features like BS, EBD, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Honda sensing ADAS suite and more. For added convenience, the SUV is equipped with LED lighting, fog lights, smart entry system, smartphone connectivity, Honda LaneWatch technology, folding side mirror, USB ports, air conditioning and speakers.
There is no official news yet about the 2023 launch of the WR-V in Nepal. According to Indian automotive researchers, the car is still under study for the Indian market, so it is unlikely to make an appearance in Nepal anytime soon. However, if it does launch, fans can expect it to cost around Rs 45 crore.
