With the growing popularity of electric cars in Nepal, Horwin Global is gearing up to launch the CR6 here through its authorized distributor – Pioneer Worldwide Pvt. Ltd. The retro-style e-bike comes with a 4kWh lithium-ion battery that provides an adequate range of 150 km.

Design and features

The new CR6 has a retro design. The e-bike comes with round LED headlights and taillights, circular side mirrors, a muscular battery compartment, a flat seat and a handle. The bike measures 2040 mm in length, 770 mm in width and 1120 mm in height. Furthermore, the motorcycle has a seat height of 870 mm, a curb weight of 138 kg and a wheelbase of 1395 mm.

The e-bike comes with a round classic LCD instrument panel with automatic brightness adjustment. The semi-digital instrument panel is divided into two parts: an analog part and a digital part. The analog part is for the speedometer and the digital part shows speed, range, battery status, odometer, temperature and driving mode, among others.

Other notable features of the CR6 include drive modes, keyless start, Field Oriented Control (FOC) unit, combined braking system, USB charging port and anti-theft system, among others.

Battery and performance

The CR6 is powered by a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery that generates a peak power of 8.3 hp and a peak torque of 260 Nm. The e-bike comes with a battery management system (BMS) that protects the battery from overload, overheating, short circuit and deep discharge.

For charging, the battery can be charged from 0-80% in three hours and provides an approximate range of 150 km on a full charge.

The bike comes with two riding modes. At its maximum, the CR6 can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6 seconds. In addition, it can accelerate up to 95 km/h.

Pioneer Worldwide Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor, has yet to reveal the price of the new CR6. However, Nepal can expect it to cost around 6.35 lakh.
