MG Motor has recently launched the MG ZS EV, its first electric vehicle in Nepal, giving it tough competition from the Hyundai KONA EV. Both these EVs are one of the first SUV EVs in Nepal and are able to attract a large number of customers. Let's see how these two electric SUVs stack up against each other.
Hyundai KONA EV MG ZS EV
Starting with the price rates, the new MG ZS EV is priced at Rs 49.99 lakh, while the Hyundai Kona is priced at Rs 51.96 lakh. We can see a slight increase in the price of the Hyundai Kona than the ZS EV.
In terms of power, the MG ZS EV is powered by a larger 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that is capable of generating 147 Bhp of power and 353 NM of peak torque, with 80% charge being achieved within 30 minutes. The ZS EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. The Kona, on the other hand, is powered by a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers 136 bhp of power and 395 NM of peak torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds.
