Segway-Ninebot has launched its new N-series electric scooter – the N100 – in Nepal. The new e-scooter is powered by a 72V 24A (IPX7) battery and provides a range of 105 km. The N100 comes at an introductory price of Rs 2.60 lakh.

Design and features

The N100 gets a modern and minimalist design. The front panel has LED headlights with DRLs and vertically shaped direction indicators. And at the back, the e-scooter has a handle and a combined lamp (with brake lights and direction indicators). The E110L comes with a one-piece flat seat and 23 liters of storage underneath. The scooter is also available in black and white.

The E110L comes with some notable features such as RideyGo! technology, digital multi-function dashboard with GPS, LED units, anti-theft system, USB charging port, electronic anti-lock braking system, side stand engine shutdown system, cruise control, OTA updates, automatic parking mode and remote keyless system, among others .

Powertrain

The N100 is powered by an IPX7 rated 72V 24A battery mated to a modified Segway brushless motor capable of generating a peak power of 2.2kW. The electric scooter will be fully charged in approximately 8-9 hours via a regular power socket and via a quick charger the scooter will be fully charged in 2 hours. And on one charge, the scooter provides a range of 105 km.

Although the scooter has two battery compartments, the manufacturer only includes one battery; customers can add an additional battery to increase the range of the scooter.
