Suzuki launches Avenis 125 in Nepal

VG Suzuki, the authorized distributor of Suzuki scooters in Nepal, has launched its new scooter – the Avenis 125 – at Rs 2.99 crore. Avenis is offered in three variants: Ride-connect edition, Race edition and Standard edition. The Avenis 125 is the company's latest addition to the Access 125 and Burgman 125 series.
The design of the Avenis 125 is inspired by the design of the Access 125; but the new model has a more cut body which makes it look sportier. The front fascia features apron-mounted headlamps with DRLs and its handlebar cover is integrated with halogen turn indicators. The side profile has many notches and creases, emphasizing its muscular appearance. And it gets LED taillights at the back.
The scooter has a fully digital instrument console with bluetooth connectivity that provides user access such as SMS alerts, calls, Whatsapp alerts, phone battery display and turn-by-turn navigation.
Other notable features of the scooter include a built-in USB charging port, locking side stand, on/off switch and 21.8-litre under-seat storage, among others.
The Avenis 125 is powered by a 124cc air-cooled FI twin-valve engine that produces a maximum power of 9.2hp at 6750rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5500rpm. The engine is coupled with a CVT (Continuously Variable Technology). The scooter can accelerate up to 91 km/h and accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 10 seconds.
The scooter has a fuel tank volume of 5.2 liters and provides an average range of 45-50 km/l.
