Mumbai-based EV start-up PMV has launched its first electric car in India – the EaS-E – at INR 4.7 lakh. The EaS-E is offered in three battery packs: 8kW, 10kW and 12kW – and the EV provides a range of 120-200km.
The EaS-E has a conventional EV design. The front panel contains circular headlights that are connected by a light bar. And the EV's tail light has the same setup as its headlights. The EaS-E measures 2915 mm in length, 1157 mm in width and 1600 mm in height. In addition, the car is offered in one-color and two-color versions. Inside, the EaS-E comes with a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital LCD cluster instrument cluster and a Bluetooth-enabled infotainment system with in-dash navigation.
The Micro EV is equipped with notable features such as keyless entry, cruise control, reverse parking assist, AC, USB charging port, airbags and driving modes, among others.
EaS-E is offered in three battery variants: 8 kW, 10 kW and 12 kW. The batteries coupled with an IP67 rated permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) produce a maximum power of 13 hp and a maximum torque of 50 Nm. The EaS-E charges in 3-4 hours using a standard power outlet and provides an EV range of 120-200 km on a single charge. In addition, the car accelerates from 0-40 km/h in 5 seconds and can accelerate up to 70 km/h.

PMV has launched the EaS-E in India for INR 4.7 lakh. Although there is no news about the launch of the PMV EaS-E in Nepal, if it does launch, fans can expect it to cost around Rs 12 crore here.
