A few days ago, photos of a black Crossfire, which was taken on a turn in New Road, appeared on the Internet. The model was said to be a 'Tracker 250'; now Classic Wheels Export & Import Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor of Crossfire motorcycles in Nepal, officially confirmed the news through a teaser posted on their social media on August 11. The company further announced that it will launch the Tracker 250 on August 17.
The teaser also mentioned the model's tagline – The Everyday Offroader – so we can speculate that the Tracker 250 is an on-road, off-road, dual-purpose motorcycle. We have come to know that the new Crossfire will be powered by a 250cc engine and is expected to be priced under Rs 4 Lakh. If so, the Crossfire will venture into new territory and target the mid-range consumer segment currently occupied by bikes like the Hero Xpulse 200, Yamaha XTZ and Motorhead.
If the price of the bike is indeed below 4 lakh rupees, we can expect the bike to make a huge impact in the dirt bike segment and the bike might become as popular as their other models in Nepali market like RM 250, HJ 250 and GR7 250.
