The Wuling Air EV has been launched in Nepal at Rs 24.99 crore

Bajra Group has launched the Wuling Air EV in Nepal for Rs 24.99 crore. Based in Indonesia, the EV is developed under the SAIC-GM-Wuling partnership. The new electric mini-hatchback is offered in two battery and engine variants, capable of providing a maximum range of 300 km.

Design

Based on the Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform, the Wuling Air EV gets a minimalist design. The electric hatchback is offered in two lengths. The long-wheelbase model – 2009 mm – measures 2974 mm in length, 1505 mm in width and 1631 mm in height. And the model with a shorter wheelbase – 1635 mm – measures 2599 mm in length and has the same width and height.

The Air EV's front panel features the brand's logo, which covers the charging port; and above the logo is a horizontal light strip that connects to the side mirrors. And at the back, the EV has LED taillights and "WULING" lettering under the rear windshield. In addition, the EV is offered in five color variants: blue, green, pink, white and yellow.

The electric hatchback is equipped with notable features including air conditioning, steering wheel with control buttons, 50:50 split rear seats, digital instrument panel, heating and touchscreen infotainment system, depending on the variant.

In terms of battery capacity, the Wuling Air EV is offered in two battery variants: 17.3 kWh and 28.4 kWh. The batteries are connected to a 30 kW or 50 kW permanent magnet motor. In addition, the company claims that the top speed of the EV is 100 km/h.
